Called into DL today to organise a few last minute pieces of kit, all done and now just need to pack.
I now have two extra bags ordered and can't wait to see Silfra for real rather than the daily google image check.
If Silfra is as good as it seems then this is a true bus-mans holiday.
Not only is this a diving dream but as a confirmed dyed in the wool geographer, I am going to be ecstatic. I am going to be underwater with my hands touching two continents in a volcanic area, what a buzz. Then coming up to the surface I can look round and see all the volcanic and glacial features that I teach, and dare I say it, enthuse about in class!
Just seen the boat that has been booked for the sea based trip, just amazing.
