About a year ago Brett Thorpe suggested a trip for his birthday. Now two days to go and the excitement is beginning to grow. The thought of diving Silfra and then onto the Arctic circle not a bad start to the diving year.
Fortunately this years British weather has provided ample opportunity to get some cold weather diving in and has also given me the excuse to pile out and do a bit more diving than normal.
So it may be a silly o'clock start but I can't wait and will be bursting with enthusiasm as I board the orange easy plane to Iceland.
